A Message from the Family

Hello everyone and welcome to Sheridan’s Big Night Out.

On September 28 2025 our beautiful daughter and sister Sheridan passed away. She was 35.

When this happened we knew that we had to do something to ensure that Sheridan’s life was honoured and that an appropriate legacy for her would be created.

We quickly agreed that netball was going to play a prominent part in whatever decisions we made. Sheridan was devoted to netball and was deeply involved with the sport since she was 8 years old. She played the game for 27 years, she umpired, she coached, she mentored. She absolutely loved it.

So we went looking for a charity or similar organisation that was involved in netball that we thought would be a good fit for what we wanted to achieve.

Enter the Confident Girls Foundation !!

This wonderful Foundation, which was established in 2015, is part of Netball Australia and exists purely and simply to assist underprivileged women and girls throughout Australia to learn about the game of netball and to improve their lives through confidence and new found skills and friendships. What a perfect fit for what we wanted.

So we decided to partner with The Foundation to assist them with raising the much needed funds to support the range of programs that they have in place.

And this all starts with our inaugural Sheridan’s Big Night Out in Support of the Confident Girls Foundation.

Here on our site you will find information about the event, the Foundation and Sheridan.

Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you on March 21 at St George Leagues Club.
